"Spiritual growth involves giving up the stories of your past so the universe can write a new one。""Spiritual understanding is a corrective to any false programming you might have received as a child。。。 rather than endlessly analyzing a tape from childhood， you can erase it by recording a new one。""We forgive out of self-interest。 I forgive you because I want out of my pain。 I forgive you so I can be free of what you did。"There were some good nuggets of wisdom in the book。 I especially liked the "Spiritual growth involves giving up the stories of your past so the universe can write a new one。""Spiritual understanding is a corrective to any false programming you might have received as a child。。。 rather than endlessly analyzing a tape from childhood， you can erase it by recording a new one。""We forgive out of self-interest。 I forgive you because I want out of my pain。 I forgive you so I can be free of what you did。"There were some good nuggets of wisdom in the book。 I especially liked the chapters on transcending a negative sense of self， releasing anger etc。 It explores how to live from love and the higher self rather than the fearful ego， which is often messing things up in your life。 。。。more

The media made Marianne Williamson look so effing crazy。 Even I， who absolutely loves out there “woo woo” stuff， heard her answer of the first thing she would do when she entered office was to call New Zealand and thought yeah she’s super out of touch。 This book however， was great。 She understands the way the universe works。 I definitely will read it again。 It’s short and to the point。 I really enjoyed it。
